WELCOME TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS !!!
This section is primarily meant for readers with a background in Science esp, the curriculum followed in classes
XI and XII in the Indian education system.
The idea here is to create a sort of virtual lab, by simulating interesting concepts from Physics, which in our
view gives an added insight into how theory manifests itself in practice. Moreover, where ever applicable, readers
will also have the option to tweak some parameters and test how the behaviour of physical models change.
However, not much theory will be dealt with in this section. A brief description of formulae used and the final
equation describing the model will be provided only for reference. We encourage the interested readers to
actually read up more on the theory and try to derive these formulae for an even better understanding.
Morover, as in other sections, the feedback and suggestions you provide for improving or adding more models to our
database will be of utmost importance to us. Please feel free to criticize :-( our models and force our lazy team
to add more information. You may also pose questions from some of the books you follow, if you feel that it would
help give you an added perspective and we will try and develop a model out of it.
All the simulations in this section have been desgined using Easy Java Simulations.
an authoring tool developed by Fransico Esquembre for the creation of interactive simulations in Java.
